I've been listening to Angry & Cliff since the beginning - back when it was just Angry. For me, a quintessential part of the enduring charm of the Angry & Cliff podcast is the Britishness of their senses of humour, justice, outrage and cynicism.

Undeniably, as you've identified, there is a significant amount of on-Mic chemistry, but I do wonder how well their humour translates outside the cultural environment. But that's just me wondering about things, maybe.

I always have felt that their show is good entertainment and well produced. But equally I am astounded at the amount of studio time it takes to produce a 40-minute show; in my view the process should be: power up, record, stop recording, publish.

When one watches the production 'live' on the webcam it is obvious that Angry & Cliff have a ball producing the content each week, but I think they lose the 'live' edge (which they enjoy in the studio) in translation to their listeners, because of the unbalanced pre-prod and prod time.

Just my thoughts.

However I do love their show and no, they're not paying me for this.

Just throwing this podcast out there. YOUR BOY'S BOYS. This is the podcast your boy's boys listen to.

WAWA: Convenience store chain in the Northeast US. Mainly NJ, PA, and DE. A "Super Wawa" is a regular wawa with a gas station attached...

MACH W: Wawa's fake version of Red Bull, Rockstar, etc.

HOAGIEFEST: Wawa's summertime extravaganza promoting their deli products, mainly the $2.99 "shorti" hoagies. Mimicking the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper/Peter Max theme, hoagiefest is billed as a celebration of "peace love and hoagies." After Your Boy's Boys first "unofficial" concert in 2008, where we featured songs the convenience chain. The suits in Wawa, PA, in their infinite wisdom, decided to sponsor a "song contest" based off of our concert podcast a year earlier, and of course, YBB wrangled some of the biggest names in entertainment history (Including MICHAEL JACKSON'S FINAL PERFORMANCE) for the cause. Did our big names win the contest? Tune in and find out.

YOUR BOY'S BOYS: Paul and Tim host the funniest, strangest podcast you have never heard. Although no one listens to us, we get ALL the big name stars, like Regis Philbin, Marv Albert, Philadelphia Eagles broadcaster Merrill Reese, James Earl Jones, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, Al Michaels, James Gandolfini... and when they were alive, Harry Kalas, and Paul Harvey.

Great reviews. I haven't had a chance to listen to the podcast for the reviews, but I will be sure to for the next episode. I do a small podcast myself and it is nice to see someone who reviews not just the big casts with 10k subscribers, but also the small ones that might get overlooked.

Thanks for looking out for the little guy.

Woo hoo! Loved this episode for the content (it helps that I do listen to Spoonman) and also Tom's special guests (that I hope can return!) ;)

Maybe I might start a Spoonman Drinking Game - if you hear him refer to not doing the night show, have a drink (and so on)

Huh? You clearly have no idea how the industry works. If you like an artist, you donate money to the artist: you sure as hell don't buy a CD where the artist is going to get somewhere around 3 to 10%.

The reason people pirate things is because it's easy, it's cheap and they don't want to support a industry that obviously hates them.

The copyright debate outside Europe (or even outside Sweden, which is more or less the center of pirate ideology) is in it's very cradle.

(Oh, and garshley, I really hope that people like you take some time and stop to think about what the hell they mean. Seriously, advocating that the government should watch every single file transfer on the internet so they are able to steal money from people? That's an INSANE threat to personal rights!)

All meat, no filler. I re-listen to old episodes of this podcast, and I don't do that with any other podcast. If you don't subscribe to any other critical thinking podcast, get this one. It's the best ten minutes of my week.

Hey Tom, I just listened to your Skeptoid review and I reckon it's your best one yet! I have given you a huge plug by posting a link to your podcast and the following message on Brian Dunning's wall on Facebook.
"Hi Brian, I thought you'd like to know that Skeptoid has been reviewed @ www.podwatch.org. I do have an ulterior motive (but it's NOT a conspiracy I promise): the author of this podcast is my brother, Tom Longo, so I encourage everyone reading this to subscribe :-)"

I am a truly amazing big sis...and my bill is in the mail :-P
